Last night The Illuminator was out in Brooklyn. In NYC our thoughts are with Boston. Our hopes are for peace.

The Illuminator was back in full form just in time for Tax Season! We projected this live interactive videogame on one of the most notorious Tax Evaders in the country, Citibank. Minds were blown, fun was had by all. You can check out the game yourself at taxevaders.net!
Before we forget, please save the date:
WHAT: A Gathering of Illuminators Past, Present and Future…
WHEN: April 7th at 3:00pm
WHERE: Top Secret. RSVP to email@example.com to get the deets.
We’ll explain more about this gathering in a moment, but first some good news. Great news, actually. Some of you already know this, but it bears repeating:
THE ILLUMINATOR VAN IS BACK IN ACTION!
In case any of you may have forgotten our saga, our access to The Illuminator was taken away in October of last year. We were able to recover and get new equipment through our Kickstarter campaign, which is amazing, but nothing could
have replaced our beautiful Illuminator. There was genuine sadness at that loss.
Well, a few weeks ago the opportunity arose for us to get the van back. It’s a long story, and we can’t go into all the details, but the bottom line is that we- The Illuminator Affinity Group- are back in the saddle and can pick up where we left off, utilizing this incredible movement resource! How’s that for a neat little magic trick?
But operating The Illuminator itself isn’t the only thing we’re going to be up to in the coming months. We’ll also be designing and fabricating our bike-operated projection rig, The Green Lumen, working on a super secret airborne projection unit (we can tell you more in person), collaborating with a group of artists and art collectives on a project about student debt, building a new website, throwing parties, etc… We’re really excited about all the possibilities, and we’re looking for more people to share it all with. Yes, that’s right:
THE ILLUMINATOR WANTS YOU!
This is what the gathering is about, more or less. The truth is that we need more cult members if we want to succeed in taking over the world. But you don’t have to be a prospective cultist to come to our little mixer. It’s also going to be an opportunity to just come and hang out with us, get an update, celebrate the return of The Illuminator, watch a video maybe… and THEN we’ll work our mojo on you.
So, if you’re in New York City and you’d like to learn how to operate the van and go out on missions, or you’re a metal worker, or graphic artist, electrician, or programmer, or like to help organize actions and parties, and you just generally want to be a hero to the activist world of NYC, come on out on April 7th. Drop a line to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll let you know where it’ll be (which really isn’t top secret, we just don’t know where it will be yet, and we don’t want to send out mass emails like this all the time just to update people with info they don’t really want).
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading to the end of this thing, and we’ll see you in the streets.
The Illuminator Affinity Group
The Illuminator paid a visit to the National Football League Headquarters in midtown Manhattan, to call them out on their union busting, and remind everyone that we shouldn’t just get angry because our team lost a few points, but because lockouts are on the rise in this country and workers are being exploited and shut out of their jobs everywhere. We need to stand with them!
